Demo API

Introduction

The Demo Server for the API provides a scaled down environment that identically mirrors the functionalities of our production server but with a reduced amount of available companies, see Data Availability below. It serves as a tool to try out our services and for developers and integrators to test and understand our API.

Accessing the Demo Server

All the same endpoints as in the production API are available at https://api-demo.quartr.com. to test it out quickly, head to the references section and set the “Base URL” to the demo API URL. The API keys are the same for both demo and production URLs and is most easily handled in the API Portal.

Webhooks in the Demo Environment

Webhooks in the demo environment operates in the same way as in the production environment, providing real data updates in real-time. However, demo users only receive updates on the companies listed below. To manually trigger webhooks for testing and implementation purposes, you can go to the “Webhooks” section in Portal and use the “Try” button on any of your registered subscriptions. This will send a hook of the selected type as well as show whether our systems can reach your webhook receiver endpoint.

Webhooks registered in the Demo API will be automatically transitioned to the production API once the user it’s tied to is upgraded to a full access user. At this point it will get updates on all companies available in the full Quartr API.

Live Calls and Live Transcripts in the Demo Environment

Live calls and live transcripts also works identically to the production environment for the companies in the list below. However, in the Demo API you can also always find an always live event (eventId: 4284) in the currently live endpoint response object. This event includes links to an always looping audio stream as well as an always looping transcript stream.
